Dear Druid lovers, have you found your best build in Diablo 4 Season 9? To be honest, during PTR period, there are indeed some powerful Druid builds that stand out, such as Pulverize, Boulder, Cataclysm, Blind, Lightning Storm, etc. It is worth noting that all of these builds can clear all the content of Torment 4.
However, we often follow the popular trends and choose the strongest build that most players think is the strongest, but this is not the best for ourselves, and this often makes us ignore other builds that are still suitable for the endgame.
For this reason, we list here the 3 Druid builds that I personally think are most worth trying in Season 9. These builds can not only help you advance to a higher level of The Pit as soon as possible, but also achieve fast mapping and farming in Torment 1!
- Earth Spike Druid Endgame Build
First, let’s take a look at the third on the list, Earth Spike Druid Build. To be honest, this build really surprised me, not only because it can smoothly reach The Pit at level 90-93, but also because it is actually very well-rounded and suitable for most scenarios.
Although Earth Spike may not be as strong in The Pit as the next build, it is very suitable for leveling and efficiently farming Diablo 4 gold in Torment difficulty. With its basic skills buffed in season 9, and our weapon Shard of Verathiel, combined with Vasily’s Prayer and Ultimate Shapeshift skill – Grizzly Rage, we get a solid build that can handle all Overpower hits.
At the same time, this build benefits from passive skills such as Provocation, Crushing Earth, Quickshift, and Envenom, as well as from Paragon Boards and Glyphs such as Earthen Devastation with Earth and Sky, Survival Instincts with Keeper, and Ancestral Guidance with Dominate, which all help it level up.
It’s very comfortable, mainly because we don’t need to spend more Spirit on casting skills before getting the cast of Barrage.
Meanwhile, Daggers and Totems work well. We can also use Aspects such as Aspect of Adaptability and Bold Chieftain’s Aspect to increase damage.
For Horadric Spell, our choices are as follows:
- Catalyst: Celestial Surge
- Infusions: Corrosive Vapor or Thunderous Particle
- Arcana: Bloody Charm, Sapping Crux, and Fractured Core
For Horadric Jewel, we use Idol From Below for maximum life and to never be blocked, as well as Scornful Light for 20% increased elemental damage, and Luminate Eye for reduced cooldown on Catalyst.
All in all, this is a strong DPS build that is pretty durable, which is why I put it at number 3 on this list.
- Companion Druid Endgame Build
Coming in at number 2 is Companion Druid Build. If you want to utilize minions to help you kill enemies and pick up Diablo 4 gold for sale all over the floor, then don’t hesitate, this build is the one for you.
Honestly, this will be a top build for the endgame of the season, as it can usually shine with amazing single-target damage.
Wolves are the core of this build, they will land OP hits quickly and combined with high crits from gear like Heir of Perdition and runes like Xan, make for quick boss kills.
We can see frequent OP hits in Sprint, which work perfectly with Grizzly Rage. Because once our ultimate is at maximum range, we will be able to cast Companion skills while Grizzly Rage is active.
In addition, Aspects like Rampaging Werebeast will be great for boosting damage, and Aspect of the Stampede and Shepherd’s Aspect both buff Companion skills, increasing the damage of each companion and making farming more efficient in T4.
This build, combined with a powerful Horadric Spell, gives our companions enough to get the job done smoothly while moving around the map or in danger.
- Catalyst: Celestial Surge
- Infusions: Corrosive Vapor
- Arcana: Frigid Heart, Bottled Wind, and Invigorating Helix
Horadric Jewel for this build is also very solid, and our picks are Reverie Horn, Idol From Below, and Scornful Light.
This is a very well-rounded endgame build that can easily push The Pit to level 95-100, which is why it is my top two build choices for D4S9.
- Shred Druid Endgame Build
The last one on the list is Shred Druid Build. I know a lot of people will like this build because Shred skill has always been a favorite among Druid fans.
This build can quickly dash between enemies and deal powerful crits. It has been the strongest all-around build in the game for the past few seasons, so it is definitely worth trying at the beginning of season 9, not to mention that the new Borrowed Power system provides more room for this build to reach its maximum potential.
Now this is a super versatile build that is great for pushing endgame maps and farming loot. Honestly, it’s one of the fastest Druid builds, and while it might be on par with Companion build in terms of The Pit pushing, I find this build more fun.
Overall, the core of this build is all about chaining OP hits, mostly thanks to the combination of Moni, Poc, and Xan Runes. These are great setups that allow you to cast skills after moving, and with a cooldown of just 0.2 seconds, you can cast skills more often. You can see those big orange crits constantly flying across your screen.
For gear selection, there are actually a few rare rings to choose from here, but the best ones are still Ring of Starless Skies or two Ancestral Legendary rings if you have enough Diablo 4 items for sale.
Of course, there is room for further optimization. For Unique Helm, Heir of Perdition and Crown of Lucion are all good choices.
So, why Crown of Lucion? Because this build consumes resources quickly, Crown of Lucion increases damage by 5-15% and resource cost by 30% for 4 seconds each time you use a skill that consumes resources, stacking up to 5 times. So if you don’t have Heir of Perdition, this is a good choice.
In addition, Stormclaw’s Aspect and Aspect of Retaliation have a strong synergy, which can deal higher damage with core skills based on Fortified health percentage. This Fortified rewards Druid for maintaining defense and allows it to launch devastating attacks at its strongest.
On Paragon Board side, Inner Beast is essential to making the build feel smooth, which reduces Druid’s Spirit cost by 10% for 5 seconds after transforming, up to 30%. In addition, ultimate cooldown Glyphs like Fang and Claw, Electrocution, and Dominate are indispensable here!
Then, for Horadric Spell customization, our choices are:
- Catalyst: Cosmic Anomaly
- Infusions: Thunderous Particle
- Arcana: Bloody Charm, Pressurized Steam, and Fractured Core
Finally, the combination of Horadric Jewel, Myriad Stone, Idol From Below, and Luminate Eye can greatly enhance Catalyst and provide a powerful ultimate skill bonus.
I think this is a pure endgame push build, which may not be suitable for general content, but when encountering bosses, this build can bring you unparalleled advantages!
In short, the above 3 builds are all worth trying for Druid fans in the early stages. Although there may be some balance changes in the later stage to weaken these skills, these builds can also help you deal with bosses well in Torment difficulty.
